Food serving robot using Arduino | COVID 19 Social Distancing
Introduction
It is a food serving robot used to serve food in hotels, homes, malls, hospitals too. In this pandemic condition, we can use our robot to serve medicines and food to patients. In our home, we can use the robot to help our parents and also serving food to disable persons.
Components Required
Arduino, IR sensors, L298 Motorshield, LEDs, 12v Dc motors, lithium batteries, cardboard, charts, AC sheets.
How Food serving robot Works?
My project is a food serving robot which moves according to the line tracking system. It consists of five IR sensors for tracking the line and one for detecting food. This robot will start from the kitchen when the robot detects any food material. It starts to move and it will stop the movement where we already set.
And finally, after serving the food the robot starts to move back its mean position along the line. Here we use an ultrasonic sensor( if you need it) to detect any kind of obstacle in front of it. This robot can be used for serving food for disabled persons and also for hospitals for serving medicine at this Pandemic conditions.
According to our need, we can change its feature. We can control it manually by using our mobile phone Or joysticks etc. Our robot eye is made up of RGB LEDs. These LEDs are used for different indications. When the led gives us red color it means that there is no food material in its hand. When the led glows green color it has some food materials in its hand. When LEDs glow blue color, it indicates that there is an obstacle in front of it.

Application
Hotels, cinema theatre, malls, home(for disabled persons). In hotels we can use this robot for serving food for costumers and also this will attract the costumers more effectively. We can use it for cleaning purposes too.
